Home Again, Home Again

We spent the first week of our Utah getaway with Logan's family. On the 4th, we kicked off the festivities with a triathlon. I'm proud to say my speedy husband came in 3rd place, and really would have blown away the competition had he been riding a decent bike. Silly gears.

Logan and his dad, getting ready to start the race.

(Too be fair, I guess I should clarify that they rode two times around the block on bikes, ran once on foot, and then ran through the sprinkler. But is was still quite the race. Especially for Logan, who does all his triathlon training at a much lower altitude.)

Our niece Maggie, sporting her pride for her country and our other nicece, Adah.

That evening, we had dinner with all the Wangsgards before we went to a Real Salt Lake soccer game. Despite being defeated by the Canadians, we had a good time and they finished off the night with a lovely fireworks show.

At the end of our Wangsgard Week, we all went camping. It was the maiden voyage of my new sleeping bag, which seemed to work great.

Throwing rocks into the lake with Maggie and Christian.

We woke up the next morning, threw some rocks and then took off to see Logan's brother Pete's cars he entered in the Cache Valley Cruise In car show. We spent the morning there looking at thousands of cars. Pete's VW bus won a major award!
