Treat Yo Self 2012!

Job offer = Officially accepted!

Logan will be working in the Math Department of a local university. Luckily no math skills will be required for the job. We are very excited and are looking forward to celebrating with several days of stress-free fun before Logan has to start being a responsible adult in a couple weeks. Star Wars Episode I at the theatre with Soren in the middle of the day - Treat yo self. Brunch at The Friendlly Toast - Treat yo self. Going to the dentist - Treat yo self.  Paying rent without having a panic attack- Treat yo self. The best day of the year! (If you have no idea what I'm talking about watch this video. You won't regret it.)

But in all seriousness, I feel like a public thanks is in order to show our appreciation for the crazy amount of love and support we have received over the last year while we tried to keep our heads above water. A second round of unemployment before we had a chance to recover from the first felt like more than we could possibly handle. But our friends and family managed to keep us afloat with lots of love, prayers, laughter, bags of groceries and mysterious envelopes of cash. We managed to maintain a somewhat normal life and can't imagine that would have been possible without the love and support we felt through every step of the way. I know there were plenty of times where we were not so fun to be around while we wallowed in our misery, but it was reassuring to have so many people around us to lean on. So thank you. So, so much. Here's to a much, much happier 2012 and beyond. So far it's shaping up to be pretty good.
